Sisters in Spirit Vigil

Hello Everyone…I wanted to inform everyone that there is a change in the location of the vigil. We will still continue with our Rememberance walk from Peaks Quay wharf @ 6pm, however we will be ending out walk at the Confederation Centre in the Memorial Hall to continue the vigil. We are expecting rain tonight, so if you are going to participate in the walk, please wear your rain gear. Look forward to see you all there….

Family Photo Session

In mid September, Jody will be calling families in, who are interested, to have their family photo taken by Julie Pellissier-Lush. She takes wonderful photo’s and has agreed to do this for us. Please feel free to contact the Center also. You will receive your photo, also, Sharon had a wonderful idea of having a Center Calendar in which the photo’s be used in.

Resource Lending Library

We have a growing selection of First Nation adult and children books, newsletters, pamphlets, highchairs, exersaucers, etc. We encourage you to make use of these materials.

If you know of any Native families, living off-reserve on P.E.I. with children 6 years and under, that would be interested in the Center, please forward their names to Sharon or Jody, better yet, bring them along with you! We love to see new and old faces!
