Our special play groups focus on the theme of the Month, Nature, Culture, Health and Nutrition. Snacks are provided.
Mi’Kmaq Tea
An opportunity to practice, learn and enjoy the Mi’Kmaq language. Community members gather together once a month for a meal prepared by the staff.
Crafts
We invite you to join us twice a month in making a variety of crafts
New Spirits Support Group
Offers an opportunity for pre and post natal mothers to share their parenting experiences with each other.
Community Kitchen
Held at the end of each month, parents gather together, learn new recipes and prepare a meal to take home to their families.
Parent Support
An opportunity to share experiences and learn parenting skills. Public Health joins us to answer many of you questions.
Clothing
Infant, children and adult clothing has been donated to the Center. Take what you need. We welcome donations.
Mother’s Tent
Set up at PEI Pow Wows for the comfort of mom and baby, we offer change table, breastfeeding privacy, sun screen and insect repellent.
Welcome Baby Baskets
If you are having a baby or know someone who is, call us to have one of our “Baby Baskets” delivered. (Off Reserve Only)
Workshops & Events
Offer workshops free of charge such as tooth decay, healthy weight, etc. Schedule fun events and outings throughout the year for families.
